Heart of Virginia Aviation is currently seeking, but has NOT received approval, to offer a course to transition Commercial/Instrument rated Helicopter Pilots to Commercial/Instrument certification in Airplanes in a single course. This course is designed to appeal to transitioning helicopter pilots (civilian and military) who are not planning to go through a college program. It has been designed to maximize the amount of benefit that can be achieved by a VA funded veteran choosing to go through an independent flight school program.
